Jesus is the Son of God. But, scripture also calls Him the Son of Man. Understanding how Jesus operated as a man is crucial for us because He told us to go and do the "same works" that He did. (John 14:12) If Jesus did all of what He did merely as God then that disqualifies us from doing the same.
